The initial phases of Rancho Santana’s residential seaside development began in 1999. The early subdivisions focused on two areas that were named Playa Rosada (“Rose Beach”) and Playa Dorada (“Gold Beach”). A swimming pool with a changing area and bathrooms sits in the heart of Playa Rosada and looks directly at the Pacific Ocean. The rose-colored sand combined with the stellar sunsets make for a lovely full day at the beach. This amenity is available for all Rancho Santana owners. To date, nearly 20 residences have been built here, and all of the lots have been sold.

Playa Dorada sits just north of Playa Rosada and faces the Santa Ana beach and the main clubhouse. Fifteen residences have been built in this area, and like Playa Rosada, all of the lots have been sold.
